We are pleased to present the repertoire for the upcoming months - following September - of Opera Nova’s 69th artistic season, which promises to be filled with powerful emotions, artistic revelations, and unforgettable experiences! Tickets for all events (except New Year’s Eve concerts) are already on sale: in July exclusively online, and from August also at the box office.
This autumn, audiences can look forward to a remarkable premiere and the spectacular return of productions that have left a lasting mark on the history of our stage and in the hearts of our audience.
- In October, Verdi’s Rigoletto—directed by Natalia Babińska—returns to the stage. Deeply moving arias and duets, this opera tells a powerful story of love, revenge, and cruel fate. Online tickets - here.
- In November, the first premiere of the season will be King Roger, directed by Robert Bondara – a production will celebrate the upcoming 100th anniversary of the creation of one of the most important modern operas by Karol Szymanowski, a composer with close ties to Bydgoszcz. Online tickets - here.
- Around late November and early December, the Christmas spirit returns with The Nutcracker ballet, choreographed by Paul Chalmer. Audiences will once again enjoy this magical show with fairy-tale sets by Mariusz Napierała and the beautiful, timeless music of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. With the return of this performance, a message from the Opera Nova Management is available on our website HERE. Online tickets: for November - here, for December - here.
- At the turn of 2025 and 2026, Opera Nova will host spectacular New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Concerts – there will be as many as 9 this season! Tickets will be available online and at the Opera box office starting August 19!
We publish the detailed program on our posters.
In July, tickets for all repertoire performances are available online only [HERE].
The Opera Nova box office will reopen in August and, from August 1 to 17, will be open Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
In September, our stage will host the intrigue-filled action of operetta and comic opera, the chamber hall will host an educational musical performance for children, and the large stage will host an exceptional ballet... Everyone will find something for themselves!
- September (11.09., 12.09., 13.09., 14.09.) will begin with the brilliantly funny "Die Fledermaus" by Johann Strauss with beautiful music, a witty libretto, and the elegance of Viennese salons.
- We invite children (16.09. – 12:00 and 16:00; 17.09. – 12:00; 23.09. – 12:00 and 16:00; 24.09. – 12:00) to the "Carnival of the Animals", a spectacle that takes place... in a circus whose despotic director Skamielina has transformed dancers and musicians into animals. The performance introduces the youngest viewers to the world of music, engaging them in the dynamic action of the show, which is full of humor, magic tricks and downright acrobatic performances. The family show is not only entertaining, the story told in it encourages the audience to reflect, among others, on the subject of freedom and responsibility.
- Still in a slightly holiday mood, we will take you to the sunny and idyllic province to treat you to Gaetano Donizetti's "Elisir d'amore". And although the elixir has no magical power, it will contribute to the fact that the love adventures of the main characters will be directed by a happy twist of events. We will perform this operatic hit full of humor and emotion on September 20, 21 and 22.
- On the last weekend of September, "Carmen" will enter the stage to seduce you with the personality of a strong, independent woman who takes life to the fullest, for which she will have to pay the highest price... Our latest ballet production is receiving excellent reviews - the first ballet "Carmen" in Poland, choreographed by Johan Inger, will on our stage on: 26, 27 and 29.09.
