Exactly 269 years ago, on January 27, a prodigy was born – a true virtuoso and a brilliant composer, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Celebrating the anniversary of the birth of the musical genius of all time, in the coming months (from January to April) masterpieces such as "The Marriage of Figaro", "Così fan tutte" and "The Magic Flute" will resound in the orchestra pit and on the stage of the Opera Nova.
This coming weekend (January 31 (Friday), February 1 and 2 (Saturday and Sunday) we invite you to "The Marriage of Figaro" – a masterpiece with which Mozart revolutionized the opera buffa genre. The viewer not only has fun watching the adventures of the preparations for the wedding of Figaro and Susanna – servants of Count Almaviva and his wife, but can also see themselves in the psychological portraits of the characters. The complexity of human emotions and relationships is timelessly illustrated by Mozart's masterful music.

It is worth adding that the director of this production (the premiere of which inaugurated the XXIV BFO), Wojciech Adamczyk, remained faithful to the realities of Mozart's era and the place where the libretto takes place, so that the audience can enjoy not only the music, but also feast their eyes on the palace interiors of the chambers or the intricately made costumes. Tickets for the upcoming performances have already been sold out, but before each performance, you can buy tickets at the Opera box office (standing places).
In March - "Così fan tutte" directed by Paweł Szkotak will take you to many epoques and places, all the way to space! It is worth venturing on a unique journey with this production on 14, 15 and 16 March – tickets at the Opera Nova box office and online.
